HEY. So, I was thinking a while ago about how I made this account for KiSS dolls, getting them more out there. But that totally failed. I realized HOW bad it failed when I got an email from someone sharing a doll they made with me. I instantly figured, "oh, a pixel doll." But I was actually SURPRISED when it was a KiSS doll they did.

So then this contest idea hit me.

I'm holding a contest where you make your very first KiSS doll.
Wow! So what IS KiSS? Basically, digital paper dolls. Remember when you were a kid and had to cut out Ariel from the thick paper, cut out her outfits and make sure not to cut the tags off that attach the outfits to her? Yeah. It's like that, with less scissors.

I've already made a kiss doll before.
Then re-do your very first kiss doll. Use the same base you used (you can edit it if it needs it) and go for the same theme it had. You don't have to redo all the clothing in it.

Okay, so what's the catch? I'm going to require you to put a minimum of certain things in. MINIMUM. You can add as much as you want, and have as much fun, but you've got to at LEAST give the doll:
3 different hairstyles
3 different shirts
3 different pants
1 body length clothing article (bodysuit, dress, tutu, trenchcoat, etc)
5 accessories
3 pairs of socks
3 pairs of shoes
1 penguin (XD just for fun)
1 clothing article with a pattern
1 clothing article with lace

Recolors will NOT give points to "a different" article. So, a white T shirt and the exact same T shirt except black... will only be counted as 1. They must have different designs!! Maybe... a few T shirts, a few long sleeve, and a spaghetti strap.

YAY! I'm having trouble finding a good base to use though.
Never fear, Holliness is hear! (ohgodImissUnderdog) There are plenty of good bases IN MY GALLERY, as well as here: [link] You also know that there are a lot on DA. But be sure that the base you want to use is allowed for Kisekae. Some dollers despise KiSS for some reason, and will not want you to use their pixel-doll base for a KiSS doll. I recommend using a base that has a very simple pose. No limbs entwining with each other or getting in front of other body parts. It's usually more difficult. And... just make it easy on yourself.

Oh yeah. Feb 24 2009. Yeah. That's like 6 months to get a 24-hour doll finished. But I know you guys take your time, and you'll probably ask the coders I listed for help, so I want to give them AND YOU enough time to finish it. Also, I'd LOOVE it if you went all-out crazy with like 300 different clothing articles. I love those dolls so much ;_; But, being a first doll, smaller is easy XD hahah.. anyway, GO!!

I know it'll be hard to figure out and start, but if you truly enjoy KiSS, join the contest, and you'll have a chance to download every KiSS set from the official site. And I'll pay for it. For a month. O_O;

If you play with KiSS sets and don't have fun, then this contest may not be for you. Really, I'm just trying to introduce you people to KiSS, and help the community for it grow .
